Oakwood Arbor Goes Green
Thanks to Oakwood Arbor (OH), citizens of Oakwood, Ohio, had the opportunity to make their community a little more environmentally friendly. On June 6, the arbor sponsored a community clean up day. Residents could bring trash, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, microwaves, and TVs to a dumpster rented by Oakwood Arbor.
Nothing But Nature, a group of individuals the arbor invited to participate in the clean up, collected leaves and trimmings. Others joining the arbor in this green initiative included Boy Scout Troop 19, the Oakwood Town Council, and Porter’s Refuse.
The arbor also used the event to get the word out about their arbor by including a paragraph welcoming the community to join their arbor on the flyers distributed throughout the community.
