Gleaner Life announces Give and Grow grant program (1)
May 09, 2017
In an effort to give back to more communities where our members live and work, Gleaner Life Insurance Society is launching the Give and Grow grant program. The $250 grants will help fund service projects across Gleaner’s 13 licensed states. Members can begin applying for the grants June 1 at www.gleanerlife.org/giveandgrow.
“Give and Grow will give members a chance to improve their community with seed money to fund a project. Our hope is to expand our long-standing history of charitable giving to reach more communities and make a positive impact,” said Michelle Horn, assistant vice president of community engagement.
Qualifying benefit members can apply for grants to improve their communities through volunteer service projects. The projects can be anything from cleaning up a local park to providing lunches for the homeless. Gleaner will award eight grants each month.
Give and Grow grant recipients will receive:
- A prefunded $250 Visa card for your project.
- Branded T-shirts for your team of volunteers.
- Free resources for promoting your project.
