Gleaner Life Insurance Society has promoted Vice President and National Sales Director Matt Taylor to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this expanded role, Taylor will lead Sales,
Marketing, Operations/Member Services, and IT & Compliance.
The promotion was announced by Gleaner President and CEO Todd Warner, who
cited Taylor’s strong performance in his first year guiding Gleaner’s Sales team.
“This is a strategic step forward for Gleaner,” Warner stated. “By aligning these key functions under Matt’s leadership, we are strengthening collaboration, enhancing decision-making, and positioning the organization to build on the strong momentum we’ve achieved — especially the impressive sales results delivered in the first
quarter.”
Taylor joined Gleaner Life in 2025 while marking his 25th year in the insurance industry. He began as an Agent Owner with State Farm following graduate school, then served for 14 years with Farm Bureau and most recently was Vice President of Life Sales with Frankenmuth Insurance. Taylor graduated from Cornerstone University with a master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in business management and leadership.
