Arbors

The benefits of giving, without the hassle of fundraising

An arbor is a Gleaner Life service club. These service clubs are made up of members (insured by a Gleaner life or annuity product) and social members who believe in giving back and helping others. Arbors are funded by Gleaner Life Insurance Society. Since 1894, Gleaner arbors have benefited their communities through service projects and donations. Because arbors are funded by Gleaner, members can spend their time giving back rather than fundraising.

Solutions for your community's needs

Each arbor can earn up to $11,500 in compensation each year to benefit their community. Whether you see an in-need family who could use a caring hand to help make ends meet, a playground that needs some sprucing up, or anything in between, Gleaner arbors are there to help build up your community. Gleaner's innovative Samaritan program encourages arbors to support a range of causes from environmental and patriotic to engaging youth and the elderly.

Celebrating Our Roots, Growing Together

Gleaner Life is proud to celebrate its members and the important role they play in their communities. Each biennial convention is a special weekend dedicated to honoring our Arbor representatives, who come together to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their contributions.

During the event, representatives from Gleaner Life arbors gather to participate in engaging activities, enjoy meaningful discussions, and strengthen the bonds that make our organization unique. This weekend is an opportunity to recognize their dedication, reflect on shared successes, and look forward to the future of Gleaner Life together.
